The only way an administrator can effectively administrate is to know what is happening from the employee perspective. As Sheriff, I will work at least one day a month in uniform, on patrol. Not just on the day shift, but on all shifts. I believe the Sheriff needs this perspective. Besides, I love police work and I have never been one to sit on the sidelines.
